We bought the world map as a 1st anniversary gift for my niece and her hubby. They are running a marathon in every U.S. state and love to travel. I wish we’d just bought the US version, as once they mark off all of their marathons, the US portion of the map will be pretty well covered, but we also wanted them to explore other parts of the world. They seemed to really like the idea. I did buy the pushpins elsewhere, as I didn’t need the number of colors in the variety sold on the website. Found some very small silver and gold pins that work perfectly for this purpose.
